All-inclusive Cuba Tour Built Special for Educators

This package is made by teachers, for teachers.

You'll spend about half of your time doing typical cultural exchange activities like:

  • Touring Old Havana's parks, plazas and fortresses with a Cuban architect
  • Viewing Cuban art history in museums and visiting contemporary undiscovered Cuban artists in their homes.
  • Walking the Malecón on the weekend to drink and talk and dance with Cubans at 'Havana's longest bar'

And about half your time engaged in programming specific to educators:

  • Visit a Casa de la Cultura - Cuba's magnet program for theater arts. See the kid's performances and even get up on stage!
  • Go to Habana Compas Dance and see a neighborhood organize into a dance troupe of women of all ages!
  • Tour Muraleando and walk the mural lined streets to the recovered water tank/art space and hear about a community project that combines ecology with children's art education!

Take Your Education to the Hills and the Beaches!

You won't just stay in Havana for a week (even though there is plenty there to do and see). You'll also take your educational trip to the tropical hills and Caribbean beaches around Havana for a couple of overnights into the provinces.

  • Spend a couple of days in and around Las Terrazas and a night in Soroa hiking nature trails to waterfalls, visiting botanical gardens and even take a zipline canopy tour!
  • Spend a couple of days and a night in a boutique hotel on the beaches of Playas del Este.
  • Pass another couple of days and a night in and around Playa Larga where you can tour the Bay of Pigs Military Museum, visit a crocodile and snorkel and SCUBA at Cuba's pristine Southern reef!

How much does it cost?

8 Days/7 Nights from $1560

July 28th through August 4th

Minimum of 6 necessary for trip to make.

All-inclusive means:

  • Full-time (12 hours a day), bilingual Cuban guide
  • All transport - airport to airport and throughout itinerary
  • All accommodations (double occupancy)
  • All meals
  • All activities, entrance fees and equipment rental (unless otherwise stated on your itinerary
  • Honorariums, speaker fees and expert guide tips for all Cuban personalities
  • Legal documents, visas and travel health insurance documentation
  • A personal mini water filter

Not included

  • International airfare
  • Food and drink between meals
  • Transport home is you stay out past your guide's bedtime (typically 9PM)
  • Tips for guide and chofer
